Project Overview

I worked with this client as a Design Lead on their internal team. I bridged the gap between their design and engineering teams for almost a year and a half. We built a new design system for their marketing team based on their digital product’s existing design system. Here are some highlights of my time there:

• Led efforts to expedite our design system contribution pipeline across design, engineering, and content teams

• Pitched new ideas and processes for our system directly to stakeholders

• Co-led our Figma architecture and matched it to our development environment

• Built foundational layers, components, and patterns in our Figma design system

• Co-led our design token decisions across design and engineering

• Aided in bug fixes as a developer. Reviewed PRs as a designer

• Worked with migration efforts to integrate our new design system into different phases of migration. Helped them identify which components and patterns would work for their use-cases
